Part Two - LITTLE CEASAR TO LITTLE VIC
Under Little Vic's leadership all is well and running smoothly in the Colombo Family. Little Vic’s embrace extends down to the captains and soldiers who are keeping larger amounts of the proceeds for themselves. There is an air of contentment under Little Vic’s democratic reign. Little to no violence is taking place inside the family or on the streets. With the respect he has earned Little Vic has a solid working relationship with other family bosses such as John Gotti, Vic Amuso and Gaspipe Casso, the acting leadership of the Genovese and Bonano CF. Soon Gotti, Amuso and Casso start putting pressure on the CCF that they need to appoint an “official” street boss so that Little Vic could be appointed and sit on the Commission Meetings.
Crime did pay and the families prospered sharing in very lucrative businesses from gasoline bootlegging under Vic Orena Jr. to the construction industry spearheaded by steel magnate, Tomas Petrizzo. With Little Victor's successful and legit business dealings and street profits pouring in Little Vic, along with his closet allies, were amassing a fortune. But that fortune soon leads to misfortune as greed and jealousy smolders silently against Little Vic’s enormous success.
